Reentry Support Platform for Incarcerated Women
Problem Statement
Support incarcerated women in preparing for reentry by designing a curriculum and tracking model that equips them with critical skills, reduces recidivism, and increases post-incarceration employment opportunities.
The Accomplishments
-
Led a cross-functional team to design a six-week empowerment curriculum informed by focus group findings and stakeholder interviews
-
Conducted research with case managers and incarcerated women to identify high-impact subject areas and points of tension in existing reentry services
-
Redesigned the program timeline and content modules to reflect participants’ goals and constraints, resulting in the addition of three new subject areas
-
Developed a facilitator playbook and progress tracking model with recommendations for equitable and trauma-informed delivery practices
The Result
An actionable curriculum and scalable support framework that increases post-release employment by 15%, strengthens community support, and supports long-term reentry outcomes for women impacted by incarceration.
